Kappa Sigma: The Most Preferred Fraternity in the Country

With the Fall semester of 2012 fast approaching, the brothers of the Mu Psi chapter of Boston University’s Kappa Sigma fraternity are ready for not only another successful rush season, but also to continue the success we have seen in most recent years. Coming off of one of our most successful school years to date, with 31 new brothers initiated and over $6,000 dollars in support of our national charitable organizations, Mu-Psi once again earned recognition for its efforts. At this year’s Leadership Conference, held in New Orleans, LA, Mu-Psi took home the Founder’s Award for Chapter Excellence for the second year in a row, a prestige bestowed to only the top few chapters nationwide. In addition, three of our prior Executive Committee members were recognized for their hard work and dedication to our chapter; David Schlieder for Outstanding Grand Master, Matthew Garcia for Outstanding Grand Master of Ceremonies and Ryan Miller for Outstanding Grand Scribe. Other awards included the Champion Chapter Award, the Chapter Intramural Achievement Award and the Outstanding Communications Program Award. Our combined leadership and campus involvement from the past year have helped to catapult our status to one of the most decorated chapters in the country, as well as one of the most respected fraternities on the Boston University campus. Currently, with brothers around the world wrapping up internships and jobs in preparation for another semester at BU, we all look forward to surpassing our potential once again and taking our already successful efforts to the next level.
